I started participating in Socacize when the classes were held at Lululemon, taught by Ayanna. During those times, even though I loved my soca music and I loved to dance, I was always the shy one in the back of the class, too shy to move to the front and get on bad!
The quote "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone" by Neale Donald Walsch definitely woke me up and I mustered up the courage to sign up for the Socacize Instructor Training in 2011, and 5 years later, I'm front and centre as a Socacize Licensee! Over the past few years, fitness has become one of my top priorities in life and Socacize is a great way to spread the word and encourage others to start and/or maintain a healthy lifestyle.
We always hear the words "no pain, no gain" when it comes to exercise, but getting fit doesn't always has to be that way. But attending a class such as Socacize would definitely help the journey to a healthier lifestyle be a more enjoyable experience...are you ready to sweat? :-)
